Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s safe trick-or-treating “One Frightful Night” to be held Saturday in Downtown Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, Altra Federal Credit Union and the downtown businesses have combined forces for this year’s One Frightful Night, also known as Fright on Franklin on Saturday, October 31st from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
One Frightful Night is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more in Historic Downtown Clarksville! Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon of frightening-ly fun Halloween-themed activities.

Clarksville, TN – There’s still time to register your child for this season of Youth Basketball, but you’d better hurry! Registration for the Youth Basketball League will be closing on October Monday, October 5th.
Onsite registration is available at any of the three Community Centers, as well as at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office through Monday, October 5th.
Clarksville Downtown Market to host Fall Celebration this Saturday

Tenth Annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts” set for Saturday, September 19th

Clarksville, TN – Downtown Clarksville’s 10th Annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts” will take place Saturday, September 19th from 8:30am to 3:30pm. This free event will showcase the works of more than 30 artists, staged entertainment and art demonstrations — all along the 100 block of historic Franklin Street.
A variety of original fine art, as well as handmade crafts, will be on display including paintings and photography, jewelry, clay garden items, wood work, purses and fabric accessories, pottery, candles, jewelry, woven and knitted items, and seasonal gifts. Items will be for sale with prices ranging from $2.00 to $500.00.
