Clarksville, TN – Is your child interested in playing basketball this winter?
The Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a co-ed youth basketball league for boys and girls ages 7 to 15.
Volunteer coaches will work with children to improve individual skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting, while instilling values in teamwork and sportsmanship.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Downtown Market will be accepting donations for Hurricane Harvey relief from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 on Clarksville’s Public Square.
All items will be transported to Fifth Ward Church of Christ in Houston on Sunday.
Used items will not be accepted.

Shoppers are encouraged to visit the market from 8:00am to 1:00pm, Saturdays on Public Square and then endorse the market by visiting the information booth or by visiting http://markets.farmland.org
What you put on your fork matters. That’s the message behind American Farmland Trust’s seventh annual Farmers Market Celebration. The celebration calls on shoppers to help identify the best of America’s farmers markets. The summer-long event launched June 21st, 2017.

Registration under way for Clarksville’s Wonder Kids Triathlon

Clarksville, TN – The fifth annual Wonder Kids Triathlon, hosted by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department for boys and girls ages 3-12, will be Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at New Providence Pool, 168 Cunningham Lane.
Wonder Kids Triathlon athletes will participate in the three segments of a traditional triathlon: swimming, biking and running.

Clarksville Downtown Market to open May 20th

Clarksville, TN – When the 2017 Clarksville Downtown Market opens on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 approximately 80 vendors will be on hand to offer fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor, seasonal flowers and more.
Clarksville Downtown Market will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays through October 14th on Public Square.
Opening Day of the Market also will feature entertainment by Hank Baker and Hui Hawaii O Tenesi Hawaiian Civic Club; activities for children provided by this year’s Market sponsor, Season’s Market and Bump & Rump; free health screenings, courtesy of Medical Direct Care; and market tote giveaways provided by Altra Federal Credit Union.
