Clarksville Downtown Market Announces Upcoming Events

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Downtown Market features approximately 70 vendors on hand. They offer local fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor, seasonal flowers and more. It is open from 8:00am to 1:00pm every Saturday through October 8th, 2016 on the Public Square in the City Hall Parking Lot.
A community‐favorite and shopping destination, the Clarksville Downtown Market on Public Square offers a variety of events.
Festivities are free of charge and diverse, offering something for visitors of all ages looking to have a great time at one of Clarksville’s most treasured gathering places.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation hosts summer event series for dog-lovers

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is excited to host Fun with Fido, a free event series for you and your four-legged family member.
The season will kick off at Heritage Park Bark Park, located at 1241 Peacher’s Mill Road, Saturday, June 25th. Join us from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for a tail-waggin’ good time of contests, prizes and dog-related vendors.
Hilltop Super Market to hold Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook Off and Car Show May 6th and 7th

Clarksville, TN – This Friday and Saturday, May 6th and 7th, Hilltop Super Market will host the Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook Off and Car Show. This event is being held in honor of Dwayne Byard who past away last year.
The car show is Friday night and the BBQ Cook Off will be on Saturday.
Yellow Creek Baptist Church’s Community Easter Egg Hunt simply a delight

Cumberland City, TN – Yellow Creek Baptist Church held their annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26th, 2016. Registration started at 9:00am and the Easter Egg hunt began just after 10:00am.
The Easter Egg hunt was divided into three divisions: Pre-K, K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. 10,000 eggs filled with candy were scattered between the three fields. Each division also had 200 eggs with tickets. Each child that registered got a ticket. Those tickets make them eligible for the door prizes.
Hilltop Super Market’s 21st Annual Easter Egg Hunt set for this Saturday, March 26th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 26th, 2016, Hilltop Super Market will hold their 21st Annual Easter Egg hunt. Activities starts at 11:00am with the egg hunt starting at 2:00pm sharp.
There will be cup cake decorating, inflatables, face painting, bounce houses, games, fun, food and prizes for children of all ages. Make sure to bring your camera and take your picture with the Easter Bunny.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation held annual Wettest Egg Hunts Saturday

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 16th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation held their 4th annual Wettest Egg Hunts at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
The swimming pool and wading pool had thousands of scattered eggs for the kids to jump in and get for candy and prizes.
Tickets on Sale Now for Clarksville’s Third Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night

Clarksville, TN – Enjoy a night of fun at the Third Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night. Hosted by Clarksville Parks and Recreation, the event will be held Saturday, April 2nd at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center from 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
Tickets are on sale now and include an evening filled with dinner, dancing, and dessert. Prizes and fun activities will be happening all night long.
Tilted Kilt to hold Contest November 30th to benefit Men’s Cancer Charities “For No Shave November”

Clarksville, TN – To wrap up the national “No Shave November” movement raising awareness for men’s cancers, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery in Clarksville will host a “Sweet Beard Contest” on Monday, November 30th
The contest will be held during halftime of Monday Night Football at the pub.
Sponsored by Love, Blood, Ink Tattoo and RubADub Tubbs Beard Oil, the Kilt Girls will select their top three favorite beards and prizes will be awarded.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s safe trick-or-treating “One Frightful Night” to be held Saturday in Downtown Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, Altra Federal Credit Union and the downtown businesses have combined forces for this year’s One Frightful Night, also known as Fright on Franklin on Saturday, October 31st from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
One Frightful Night is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more in Historic Downtown Clarksville! Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon of frightening-ly fun Halloween-themed activities.
