Billy Dunlop Park will be closed to the public, Tuesday, May 1st for a Police training class. The park will reopen at dawn the following day.

Clarksville’s Movies in the Park 2012 season to kick off May 5th

Clarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the FREE outdoor movie series at the Heritage Park Soccer fields, will kick off its seventh season, Saturday, May 5th with the Oscar winning film, “Hugo” – which is rated PG.

Hilltop Supermarket’s 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 7th, Hilltop Supermarket held their 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event started at 11:00am with food, inflatables, face painting, cupcake decorating and more.
The easter egg hunt was broken down into four groups; up to 4 year olds, 5 to 6 year olds, 7 to 9 year olds and the 10 to 12 year old group.
There was a large turnout to Hilltop Supermarket's 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday.

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 7th, Hilltop Super Market will hold their 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Activities begin at 11:00am and the easter egg hunt will begin at 2:00pm sharp.
There will be inflatables, face painting, cupcake decorating, festivities, games, prizes and fun for all ages.

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 7th, Hilltop Super Market will hold their 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be inflatables, face painting, festivities, games, prizes and fun for all ages.

Over 400 kids attended Hilltop Market's 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt last year.
11th Annual Appleton Harley-Davidson Eagle Toy Run

Clarksville, TN – The 11th Annual Eagle Toy Run will be on Saturday, November 12th from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Show off your motorcycle and ride for an awesome cause!
Registration for the event will begin at 9:00 am at Appleton Harley-Davidson, and the entry fee to participate is $20.00 or $10.00 and a new toy of equal or greater value. Week-delayed 17th annual Governors Bass tourney set to cast off Sunday

Clarksville, TN – After a week’s delay, the 17th Annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament will cast off Sunday at Kentucky Lake, with boat launching from Paris Landing, Tenneesse, State Park.
The tourney originally scheduled for May 14th, was postponed as a result of extremely high waters and flooding resulting from recent rains.
For the first time in tourney history last year’s tourney was delay—two weeks—for similar water/rain-related reasons. The tourney still drew 269 boats.

Programs for Children at the Public Library

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will once again present a Summer reading Program for the children and young adults in Montgomery County. “One World, Many Stories” is the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program in libraries all across Tennessee and the nation. Everyone can participate in this free program!
Sign up at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library in the Children’s’ Library. Programs begin on June 6th, 2011 and continue through July 8th, 2011. Children are rewarded for reading or for listening to books being read. [Read more]
