Clarksville’s Downtown Market has something for everyone

Clarksville, TN – There are just two days of the Clarksville Downtown Market left for this year. Make sure to stop by this Saturday, September 24th, or next Saturday, October 1st, and check out what all the vendors have to offer.
The Clarksville Downtown Market is Saturday from 8:00am until 12:00pm from now until October 1st. It provides a place for local farmers, artists, crafters, and more a place to display and sell their goods in one location.
This past Saturday, the Clarksville Downtown Market had 84 vendors. Some of the items at the market are fresh vegetables, soaps, baked goods, skin care products, herbs, handcrafted items, and a lot more.

Clarksville, TN – For years, the area behind Ellington Hall was considered one of the least attractive spots on the Austin Peay State University (APSU) campus. The land, surrounded by sidewalks and abutting loading zones and parking lots, sloped downward into a wide, unsightly bowl that flooded during heavy rains.
Junior Ranger Day Camp at Dunbar Cave State Natural Area

Clarksville, TN – It is our pleasure to announce Dunbar Cave State Natural Area’s third annual Junior Ranger Day Camp. This camp is designed for children ages 8 and 9 years old. Programs will help children build a better relationship with the great outdoors and have fun, while learning.
Camp will be held from 9:00am to 12:00pm, Wednesday – Friday, June 15th – 17th. Participants must attend all three days to earn a Tennessee State Parks Jr. Ranger certificate and badge.

Volunteers Needed to Plant Trees and Plants at Rotary Park

Make a Difference Day- Stream Enhancement Project
Montgomery County, TN – On Saturday, October 23rd, from 10:00am-2:00pm volunteers are needed to help plant trees and plants along the banks and grassy area around the Wall Branch Creek.
Wall Branch Creek meanders through Montgomery County’s Rotary Park and provides cool vistas for park visitors and habitat for a broad variety of native wild life. This stream has a segment that receives concentrated storm water runoff from a relatively large grassy area, and this may be degrading the stream’s natural systems. [Read more]
