Clarksville’s Chocolate Affair has Sold Out

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 2nd Annual Chocolate Affair, scheduled to take place Saturday, February 8th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center has sold out again!
After last year’s sold out event, a second event time was added to allow for an additional 100 tickets to be sold– in all 600 tickets were sold!

Aspire Clarksville to Kickoff new Fundraising Campaign in February

Clarksville, TN – Aspire Clarksville, an economic development foundation to benefit Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee, will officially launch its new campaign at a kickoff breakfast in early February.
The new, five-year, campaign aims to raise nearly $3.8 million for local business development, which is anticipated to bring over 3,500 jobs to the area.
The new effort, “A Focus On The Future,” is the fifth campaign since the Aspire initiative was started in 1996. [Read more]

Clarksville, TN – Local and national businesses are teaming up to offer Clarksville’s 2nd Annual Chocolate Affair, scheduled to take place Saturday, February 8th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
Chocolate Affair, presented by the City of Clarksville and Planters Bank, will feature sweet and savory treats from both local businesses like Ann Marie’s Artisan Bakery and Natural Choices Botanicals, as well as some National brands like Dove, Lindt, Sams, and Velata.

2014 Slate of Exhibits Announced
Clarksville, TN – The drawings and paintings of local artist Bob Privett will be on display at the Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery from Thursday, January 2nd – Wednesday, February 5th.
In his exhibit titled, “Retrospective—Inspirations from April through December,” Privett shares paintings and drawings of people he met and places he visited while traveling through the United States, Canada, and Europe.

A metalsmith from East Tennessee, Herrin creates sculptures and jewelry that seem to come from a dark, albeit beautiful place.

The City of Clarksville and Planters Bank are offering discounted tickets thru November 30th for anyone who registers for the pre-sale price of $12.00 per person.
