Collin Raye to headline Riverfest 2011

Clarksville, TN – Join the City of Clarksville and Bud Light along the banks of the Cumberland River as they celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 24th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 9th and 10th, 2011. This free, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
The music kicks off at 5:00pm, Friday, with a great lineup of Christian performers on the Mary’s the Music Store Stage to include Britt Nicole who will perform at 9:00pm. Ekoh, Black Market Research and UZoo – The Authentic U2 Tribute Band Experience will take to the Bud Light Stage on Friday night, followed by the ultimate Journey tribute band, Chain Reaction.
2011 Spring Eggstravaganza!

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department held their Annual Spring Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 23rd at the Heritage Park Baseball Fields.
The event started ran from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and included games, face painting, a three-legged race, an egg-on-a-spoon race, bunny hop race, and the hunting of more than 30,000 eggs.
All races were held from 3:15pm to 3:45pm at the larger field for ages 12 and under. Kids even got a visit to the Easter Bunny himself!
Oak Grove Tourism’s 2nd Annual Butterfly Festival

The Butterfly Festival, one of Oak Grove Tourism’s premier events, celebrates its 2nd year September 18th at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park, 101 Walter Garrett Lane, in Oak Grove, KY. Admission is free.
More than 5,000 people attended last year’s celebration paying tribute to our environment and in particular, Kentucky’s state insect, the Viceroy Butterfly. Despite being so young, the celebration is one of the largest of its kind in Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee. [Read more]
