Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Civil War Roundtable announces its April 2019 program and speaker. The meeting is always open to interested members of the public.
The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, April 17th at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Tennova Healthcare. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.

Clarksville, TN – Work continues on a $2.7 million addition to the Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center, which will provide improved quality of life for more Clarksville residents.
The new 14,600 square foot, two-story structure will provide more space for programs and services for the center’s growing number of seniors who drop in for meals, activities, classes and recreation.

APSU Chamber Singers to embark on March tour of Tennessee, Illinois

Clarksville, TN – This March, Austin Peay State University’s premiere choral ensemble – the Chamber Singers – will showcase their talents in Tennessee and Illinois during their 2016 tour. The group will visit local high schools during the day, and they will perform free concerts for members of these local communities.
Guest Lecturer Talks Quilts at the Customs House Museum

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum is showcasing part of its quilt collection through January in the exhibit Patterns of History.
Sponsored in part by Legends Bank, this exhibit highlights covers dating as far back as 1830. Included is a Mexican Rose quilt (c. 1850 – 1860) and a “Crazy Quilt” piano runner (c. 1880) made by Lena McLean of Rutherford County, TN.

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is located in historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. Come explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science and history.
Some of the events in November at the Museum are: Of Stars & Stripes: From the Collection of Dr. John Olson, Patterns of History: Quilts from the Collection, The Art of Noriko Register and Champagne & Chocolate.

Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Hospital. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.
