APSU Governors vs Tennessee Volunteers Football Game Viewing Party at Tilted Kilt in Clarksville

Clarksville's Tilted KiltClarksville, TN – Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, located at 2790B Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville, will be showing the UT Vols vs. Austin Peay Governors game on Saturday, August 31st, 2013.

Kickoff is slated for 5:00pm and the game will be shown on one of The Kilt’s jumbo 180 inch television screens.

Austin Peay State UniversityCoaches vs CancerClarksville, TN – When Austin Peay State University and Murray State meet up Saturday, the Ohio Valley Conference’s most heated rivalry briefly will be put aside as fans unite in the fight against cancer.

In between the games, Wendy’s and Chartwells will be sponsoring the Coaches vs. Cancer Chili and Potato Bar, with all proceeds benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. The Lady Govs host Murray State at 3:00pm, with the men’s game not set to tip off until 7:00pm Fans are invited to enjoy the pre-game meal while at the same time, joining up in the fight against cancer by making a donation to the American Cancer Society. The City of Clarksville adds new local content to AT&T’s U-verse TV

PEG channel added to U-verse TV in Clarksville, Tennessee

AT&TClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and AT&T Tennessee today announced that Public, Education and Government (PEG) programming provided by The City of Clarksville is now carried on AT&T U-verse® TV Channel 99.

This station is operated by Austin Peay State University (APSU). APSU’s GovTV channel provides its viewers live and rebroadcast coverage of OVC sports, classic arts showcase, NASA and various community events that also include Clarksville’s city council meetings. AT&T U-verse launched in Tennessee in December 2008.

Austin Peay State University featured on cover of new AT&T Clarksville Phone Directory

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University is featured on the cover of the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory serving Clarksville and surrounding communities.

APSU is the first to appear on the Real Yellow Pages’ newly designed cover, which was unveiled November 16th during a public announcement on campus. The photograph depicts the excitement of men’s basketball at APSU, one of 15 sports programs offered by the University.

2011 Tailgate Alley Registration now available

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – With Austin Peay State University’s football season just around the corner, the Athletics Department is now taking 2011 Tailgate Alley registration forms.

The Govs kick off the 2011 season with a pair of road games – September 3rd at Cincinnati and September 17th at Memphis – before the home schedule begins with a September 24th, Ohio Valley Conference game against Eastern Kentucky.
