Clarksville Homes being Rebuilt and Restored

Clarksville, TN – On June 22nd, the Clarksville Office of Housing and Community Development, along with Clarksville Mayor Pro Temp Geno Grubbs, were on hand when the homeowner of 50 Union Street was presented with keys to her new home.
Union Street lies within the Dog Hill Architectural District known for its late Victorian Architectural Style which consists of typical turn of century framed construction cottages. The district got its name because neighborhood canines would howl at the whistles of the nearby trains and steamboats. [Read more]
Operation SERVE visits the Kleeman Community Center

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department would like to extend a big thank you to those volunteers from Grace Community Church’s Operation SERVE program who lent a helping hand to the Kleeman Community Center on Saturday, September 24th.
The group of volunteers completed a range of improvements at the Kleeman Center on both the interior and exterior of the Center.

Operation Serve Project to Sponsor Car Wash and more for Humane Society

Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County has been named as one of several charities to benefit from this weekend’s Operation Serve effort.
This coming Saturday, September 24th from 9:00am-2:00pm, approximately 25 volunteers from Grace Community Church will gather at the Humane Society building to help them with various projects that they would otherwise not have the funds or manpower to complete themselves.
