City officially opens the newest section of the Riverwalk

In a formal ribbon cutting ceremony the City of Clarksville unveiled the new North Riverwalk Extension on Wednesday. Clarksville Mayor Johnny Piper listed the features to the attendees at the ribbon cutting ceremony which consists of a 12’ sidewalk lined with park benches, picnic tables, and lighting along the Cumberland River from Pilot’s Plaza (behind O’Charleys) to the mouth of the Red River.

The City of Clarksville invites you to the unveiling of the North Riverwalk Extension Wednesday, June 23rd at 4:00pm. The North Riverwalk Extension consists of a 12’ sidewalk, park benches, picnic tables, lighting, landscaping and irrigation from Pilot’s Plaza (behind O’Charleys) to the confluence of the Cumberland and Red River’s as well as a development pad.
