Summer Youth Program runs June 4th through July 13th
Clarksville, TN – The Summer Youth Program is a six-week day camp-type program that is offered each summer to youths, ages 6-16. Gyms at various locations are staffed with directors and assistants, who will help with playtime activities and provide free, instructional classes such as gymnastics and karate. [Read more]
West Creek Middle School Administrator Announced

Montgomery County, TN – Rebecca Keffer has been named assistant principal at West Creek Middle School, for the next school year. She will be replacing Stacie Batson, whose resignation takes effect at the end of this school year.
The Kiwanis Club “Interview A Veteran” Essay Contest Winners

Clarksville, TN – The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville their “Interview A Veteran” Essay Contest Winners program Tuesday, November 8th 2011. The Essay contest was open to all Clarksville Montgomery School System and Fort Campbell students ages 6-12.
Each school winner was awarded a plaque and a $100.00 gift card by the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville. The Middle School and High School Division winners received a U.S. flag formerly flown over the U.S. Capitol, a special patriotic award, and an additional $100.00 gift card.

The West Creek, Caldwell Lane, Minglewood, Barksdale, Hazelwood, St. Bethlehem, Kleeman Center, Crow Center and New Providence sites have met their registration capacities.

Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board Recognizes Parent for Contribution

Montgomery County, TN – When an academic intervention makes a significantly positive difference for a student, it’s a celebration for that student’s teacher and, more importantly, for that student’s family. Master Sgt. Clark Slone, the father of Smiddle school students Justin and Savanna, was amazed at the reading progress his children had made thanks to the Read 180 program. As a thank you to the teachers at New Providence Middle School, he presented a $2,000 check to support the Read 180 program.
