Clarksville’s Riverfest to feature “Nashville” star Charles Esten

Clarksville, TN – Riverfest, presented by the City of Clarksville and Miller Lite, is pleased to announce Charles Esten of television’s hit series “Nashville” will be the featured headliner at the 2015 Festival. Charles Esten will take the main stage as the headlining event on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at 9:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Charles “Chip” Esten was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended T.C. Williams High School, made famous in the film “Remember the Titans.”
Riverfest to feature “Earth Explorers” Kids’ Area

Clarksville, TN – The Kids’ Area at Riverfest is the perfect place to bring kids of all ages. They’ll enjoy interactive games and exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and some giant inflatables! Everyone is sure to love the new 2015 theme: “Earth Explorers” as they explore over 20 different local vendors and cultural groups.
The Riverfest Kids’ Area is located at the North Extension of McGregor Park (behind O’Charleys) and is open Friday, September 11th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, September 12th from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Performances will take place every hour on Saturday.
Deadline for Clarksville’s Riverfest Regatta registration is Friday, September 4th

Clarksville, TN – The registration deadline for the Ninth Annual Riverfest Regatta is right around the corner! Participants can enter as an individual or as a team for a chance to win awards!
This boat race is not like any ordinary boat race. Participants will compete in their boats made of cardboard, plastic bottles, or a few other approved materials. There will be several divisions all racing down the 100-yard long course on the Cumberland River.

Human foosball tournament coming to Riverfest

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and Miller Lite are proud to announce a new event at this year’s Riverfest celebration. The first ever Human Foosball Tournament in Clarksville will be at the Festival this year!
The human foosball tournament scheduled to take place from 10:00am to 8:00pm on Saturday, September 12th will be played on a life-size court, set up exactly like a foosball table.

Christmas with Ausitn Peay State University’s David Steinquest and Friends presents “Jingle Bells” concert

Clarksville, TN – The venue is grand, but the setting will be intimate as Austin Peay State University professor of music David Steinquest presents his fifth annual Christmas concert.
Titled “Jingle Bells,” Steinquest’s concert will take over The George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall at 7:30pm on December 5th, 2014, transforming the venue into a “homey” setting.
