Clarksville, TN – Rock blues artists Year Of October will perform live at The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery on Thursday, July 11th, 2013 at 8:00pm.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Year of October was founded in 2010 while members Phlecia and Josh were attending the University of Kentucky. Year of October started as an acoustic singer/songwriter group and soon made the transition to a full band.

Adams, TN – At 7:00pm July 9th, Port Royal State Park will hold their next session of the 2013 History Lecture Series “Remembering Indian Removal”. These lectures are presented by area historians and authors with most topics being part of the Trail of Tears 175th anniversary series.
This Tuesday, Austin Peay State University’s Kristofer Ray will speak about “Cherokee – European Relations in the 18th Century”.

Fundraiser at Hilltop Supermarket for Ashley Travis and Kylie Eastin a Big Success

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 15th at Hilltop Supermarket, a community fundraiser was held for Ashley Travis and Kylie Eastin from 9:00am until 2:00pm. There was a car wash, bake sale, games, inflatables, face painting, fire trucks, food and music.
The event was a huge success as the community came out and banded together to raise $23,280 for the girls.

Clarksville, TN – There will be a community fundraiser for Ashley Travis and Kylie Eastin Saturday, June 15th at Hilltop Supermarket from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
The two Montgomery Central High School Cheerleaders were injured on May 16th when they crashed head on into a vehicle that had crossed into their lane. Travis is still at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN undergoing treatment.
