Severe Winter Weather forces Blood Drive Cancellations causing Thousands of Donations to go Uncollected
Nashville, TN – This January, National Blood Donor Month, the American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood and platelet donors of all blood types to make an appointment to give now and help address a winter blood donation shortage.

APSU to offer executive education programs for working professionals this spring

Clarksville, TN – This spring, Austin Peay State University will launch its first executive education program, providing working professionals with the training and credentials they need to enhance and elevate their careers.
As part of this historic new push, the University is transforming the 13,000-square-foot 317 College Street facility (formerly the Jenkins and Wynne Honda Building) into an executive education building.

Clarksville, TN – Whether it was on the big or small screen, there’s a good chance you heard how Austin Peay State University Associate Professor of music, violin and viola Dr. Emily Hanna Crane spent her summer vacation.
That’s because the Department of Music’s coordinator of orchestral strings participated in a series of recording sessions at Nashville Music Scoring in Nashville, performing on scores for numerous major motion pictures, television shows and video games.
Customs House Museum showcases vibrant abstract work by L.A. Bachman

Clarksville, TN – From now through January 7th, 2018, the Customs House Museum is featuring the paintings of Nashville artist L.A. Bachman in the exhibition”‘Veiled Abstraction”.
The acrylic and mixed media pieces are rooted in her series made from 2014 through 2016.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan congratulated Hankook Tire on its gleaming new $800 million Clarksville manufacturing plant during a grand opening celebration Tuesday.
“I’m just so proud and happy that Hankook Tire put its faith and trust in our community and decided to build its first North American production plant right here. That says so much about the quality and character of our community,” Mayor McMillan said.
