Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Honors Program is partnering with the Nashville Film Festival, Nashville Public Television and Lipscomb University to bring documentaries on social issues to the Middle Tennessee community this fall.
The APSU Honors Program will present the first film in the series, “Big Men,” at 7:00pm, on September 17th, in the APSU Morgan University Center, Room 305. The film, produced by Brad Pitt, examines the impact of oil development in Ghana and the Niger delta. [Read more]

Preschool pop stars featured daily on Nashville Public Television
Clarksville, TN – What do a singing possum, a break-dancing donkey, a hopping kangaroo, a funky DJ and a friendly rapper all have in common?
They are the Zinghoppers…Nashville’s #1 Kids Entertainers and bonafide preschool pop stars!
On October 26th members of the group will take to the stage for two performances at the Roxy Regional Theatre, in a concert entitled, “A Superhero Learning Adventure”. The group has music videos that air daily on Nashville Public Television as well as on over 100 PBS member stations nationwide.
Tennessee Crossroads to feature Clarksville Foundry May 10th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Foundry, one of Clarksville’s oldest businesses and one of the oldest operating foundries in the United States, will be featured on Nashville Public Television’s “Tennessee Crossroads” program.
The program will air on WNPT Channel 8 on Thursday, May 10th at 7:00pm and Sunday, May 13th at 10:00am.

Charlie Foust, president of Clarksville Foundry, will appear on a segment of Tennessee Crossroads airing on May 10th at 7:00pm and May 13th at 10:00am on WNPT Channel 8.
Clarksville’s Civil War Story to Air on NPT2

Clarksville, TN – “Crossroads of Change, Clarksville, Tennessee 1861-1865,” a locally-produced video providing a perspective of the impact of the Civil War upon Clarksville and its inhabitants during the years 1861 to 1865, will air on Nashville Public Television’s alternate channel, NPT2, on Saturday, October 22nd at 8:30pm, and Sunday, October 23rd at 4:30pm.
The program is part of the Tennessee Channel, a four-hour block of programming featuring programs about the life of our state, which broadcasts simultaneously to all six public television networks across Tennessee.
