APSU biology senior to represent Team USA at World University Games

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) biology student Brinna Lavelle won a bronze medal for Team USA at the America Games in Sao Paulo, Brazil last July.
This July, the senior Governor hopes to win another medal on a bigger stage, the World University Games in Naples, Italy. She thinks she’ll do well.
APSU GuitarFest returns to campus February 15th-17th

Clarksville, TN – This February, Austin Peay State University and the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will present the annual APSU GuitarFest, featuring guest artist concerts, lectures and workshops.
The concerts, which are free and open to the public, take place on Monday, February 15th, Tuesday, February 16th, and Wednesday, February 17th, at 7.30pm in the Music/Mass Communication Building’s Mabry Concert Hall.
New scholarly journal on hispanic studies comes to Austin Peay State University

Clarksville, TN – On a Tuesday afternoon earlier this week, Dr. Osvaldo DiPaolo, assistant professor of languages and literature at Austin Peay State University, sat in his office looking tired.
A pot of hours-old coffee sat warming on a shelf while a cold rain tapped against his window. DiPaolo smiled softly at the sound and talked about taking a nap before dinner.
