Clarksville, TN – Several faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University announce their recent professional and scholarly activities.
Dr. Najmul Abedin, professor in the public management and criminal justice department, had several articles published recently. These include “The Conceptual and Functional Diversity of the Ombudsman Institution: A Classification” published in Administration & Society; “The Ombudsman Institution and Democracy in the Bangladesh Context” in the book “Democracy in Bangladesh”; and “The Ombudsman Institution, Political Authority and Corruption” in the African Journal of Public Administration and Management. Clarksville, TN – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently achieved various accomplishments for their professional and scholarly work.
Dr. Najmul Abedin, professor of public management, was designated Highly Commended Award Winner by the Emerald Group Publishing Limited in England for his article, titled “The ombudsman in developing democracies: The commonwealth Caribbean experience” published in the 2010 edition of International Journal of Public Sector Management.
