Clarksville Academy announces SACS Accreditation

Clarksville AcademyClarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school, is pleased to announce that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) has awarded Clarksville Academy accreditation.

This group represents 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the U.S. and in 65 countries worldwide educating 15 million students.

The SACS team visited Clarksville Academy in February over a two-day period and announced their accreditation in July.

Clarksville Academy students are immersed in technology with MacBook laptops and Apple iPads which are used for all work done in and outside of class.

Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for July 8th through July 14th

Clarksville, TNDunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.

Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer.
