Four Montgomery County Parks have Automated External Defibrillators available

Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department and Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS) have joined forces to provide life saving equipment and training for four of the county parks.
The Parks and Recreation staff spent Thursday morning being trained by MCEMS Assistant Chief Bill Webb on how to properly use Automated External Defibrillators (AED) that will soon be installed in Woodlawn Park, Civitan Park, RichEllen Park and South Guthrie Community Center.

Clarksville Civitan Club honored local Heroes at Public Safety Awards Luncheon

Clarksville, TN – Local heroes were honored by the Clarksville Civitan Club at their Public Safety Awards Luncheon on Wednesday.
The annual event recognizes heroic first responders who went above and beyond to save lives, rescue residents from fires, capture dangerous criminals, and provide medical services under difficult and traumatic circumstances.
The honorees work for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), the Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS), the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service (MCVFS), and Clarksville Fire Rescue (CFR).

Tennessee State Senator Mark Green Recognizes Montgomery County EMS Heroism

Montgomery County, TN – On Tuesday, May 27th, Tennessee State Senator Mark Green presented Emergency Medical Services A-Shift with Proclamations from the State of Tennessee, along with state flags that have flown over the Capitol, for their heroism that he recently witnessed on an accident scene.
