Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, August 9th, at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville.

‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,’ rated PG, and brought to you by Clarksville Family Magazine, will be shown at approximately 8:00pm (dependent on sunset).

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Tonight, Saturday, July 26th, Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s outdoor movie series, will feature ‘Grease’ at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville. Movies in the Park is free to attend and put on by Clarksville Parks and Recreation.

‘Grease,’ rated PG will be shown at approximately 8:15pm (dependent on sunset). Activities begin at 7:15pm and include karaoke with Clarksville Parks and Recreation and soccer demonstrations with the Clarksville Soccer Club.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, July 26th, and will be switching locations to Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville, for the rest of the season.

‘Grease,’ rated PG will be shown at approximately 8:15pm (dependent on sunset). Activities begin at 7:15pm and include karaoke with Clarksville Parks and Recreation and soccer demonstrations with the Clarksville Soccer Club.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville. ‘Monsters University,’ rated G, and brought to you by Altra Federal Credit Union, will be shown at approximately 8:30pm (dependent on sunset).

Monsters University is about Mike, a young monster who dreams of being scary when he grows up. When he grows up, Mike enrolls at Monsters University as a first year scare major. There, he meets Sulley, someone he’s not exactly friends with.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, June 28th, at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville. ‘Wizard of Oz,’ rated G, and brought to you by Realtor, Thryce Lindsey, will be shown at approximately 8:30pm (dependent on sunset).

The Wizard of Oz is about a girl named Dorothy Gale who is swept away by a tornado from her home in Kansas to a magical land. Dorothy and her dog Toto follow the yellow brick road and make friends along the way, as they head to the Emerald City to meet the Great Wizard in hopes that he can help return them home.

“Raiders of the Lost Ark” is about archeologist Indiana Jones’ (played by Harrison Ford) adventure to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis do.

Find Your Prom, Military Ball, or Holiday Gown at MMTC’s Third Annual Prom-O-Rama

Miller-Motte Technical CollegeClarksville, TN – Third annual Prom-O-Rama is coming to Clarksville with a rainbow of color flowing through Miller-Motte Technical College’s (MMTC) campus. Hundreds of prom dresses will be collected at MMTC starting February 17th.

In an effort to keep costs down for Montgomery County high school girls attending their proms, MMTC is collecting prom dresses from ladies in the community that wish to sell dresses they will no longer wear, but would like to sell.

Miller-Motte Technical College holds Third Annual Survivor Spa Day with YMCA’s ABC (After Breast Cancer) Program

Miller-Motte Technical CollegeClarksville, TN – Miller-Motte Technical College and the Clarksville YMCA’s ABC (After Breast Cancer) Program are excited to hold the third annual Survivor Spa Day. This event celebrates breast cancer survivors who are members of the Clarksville community.

Last year the event was changed from the traditional breast cancer awareness month in October, to November, to extend awareness and give the survivors a relaxing evening after a busy month with other events.

Tracy Billingsley, Coordinator of the Clarksville ABC program, is sampling the services at MMTC. Billingsley is also a breast cancer survivor.
