Montgomery County, TN – This Friday, August 20th, 2021, will be a night you want to remember! Beginning at 6:15pm, Austin Peay State University (APSU) will introduce the community to the new APSU president, Dr. Michael Licari, along with an update and welcome from the new APSU athletic coaches.
The cheer and dance team will also be present to motivate the crowd and lead the APSU Fight Song!

New health professions building and new military institute coming to APSU

Clarksville, TN – Major changes are coming to Austin Peay State University (APSU) with the addition of a 114,600-square-foot, three-story Health Professions Building on Eighth Street and the creation of the state’s first Institute for National Security and Military Studies.

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Board of Trustees (APSU) named Dr. Michael Licari as the University’s 11th president during a special meeting on Monday, December 21s, 2020. Licari currently serves as provost and vice president of Academic Affairs at Indiana State University.
