52 Hour Riverfest Film Festival Announces Prizes

Clarksville, TN – Riverfest, the two-day music and arts festival scheduled for September 5th and 6th, 2014 at McGregor Park, is excited to announce a new addition to this year’s attractions, the first annual 52-Hour Film Festival, presented by the Clarksville Department of Electricity.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation holds 4th Annual Dog People Party

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with Alicia’s Complete Holistic Petcare, and Gateway Realty/A+ Property Management hosted the 4th annual Doggie Pool Party at the Swan Lake Pool on Saturday.
The event part of the Fun with Fido program which seeks to give pet owners fun activities they can take part in with their pets.

Recycled Fashion Show to make its return to Clarksville’s Riverfest

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest, the two-day music and arts festival scheduled for September 5th and 6th, 2014 at McGregor Park, is excited to announce the return of the popular Recycled Fashion Show, sponsored by Bi-County Waste Management.
The show is scheduled to take place Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 4:00pm in the Adventure Zone, and is intended to educate the general public about recycling in a fun and exciting way.

Clarksville, TN – Registration for the 8th Annual Riverfest Regatta is underway! Participants can enter as a group (up to 8 people per entry) or as an individual.
The Riverfest Regatta is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 6th, will be made of cardboard or plastic bottles and a few other approved materials.
Non-profit organizations could earn $500 as Riverfest volunteers

Clarksville, TN – Is your non-profit organization looking to earn some cash? The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a $500.00 cash prize to the non-profit organization that provides the most hours volunteered at Riverfest 2014.

Clarksville, TN – Riverfest is excited to announce that the multi-platinum CMA and ACM award winning recording artist Tracey Lawrence will be the featured headliner at the 2014 Festival.
Tracey Lawrence will take the main stage as the headlining event on Saturday, September 6th, 2014. The concert is free and open to the public.
Tracy Lawrence is one of the most recognizable voices in Country music with songs such as “Paint Me A Birmingham,” “Time Marches On,” “Alibis,” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.”

Easily one of the most recognizable voices in Country music with songs such as “Paint Me A Birmingham,” “Time Marches On,” “Alibis,” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.” The entertainer has enjoyed twenty-two songs on the Billboard top ten charts with eighteen number one singles, selling over thirteen million albums.
