Fort Campbell Soldiers receive Clarksville Mayor’s Certificates

Clarksville, TN – Two Fort Campbell soldiers, Scott Puckett and Joseph Demille, received Mayor’s Certificates for taking action and assisting law enforcement in capturing burglars in December 2011.
On December 27th, 2011, a little after midnight Joseph Demille caught three teenagers breaking into vehicles in his neighborhood. He took decisive action and detained the men until Clarksville Police arrived.

Recipients Receive Mayor’s Certificate for Quick Action

Clarksville, TN – Mayor Kim McMillan recognized Clarksville Police Officer Beau Skinner, U.S. Army Captain Graham Inman, and Cynthia Young for their life-saving actions at 1032 Washington Street on January 25th, 2011.
Officer Skinner and Pat Nowell, who accepted the certificate for Captain Inman (relocated to Fort Rucker) were presented with Mayor certificates at the February 3rd City Council Meeting.

Mayor Piper to present Mayor’s Certificate to Jose Ortiz

Mayor John E. Piper presented a Mayor’s Certificate to Fort Campbell soldier Specialist Jose Ortiz, with the 63rd Chemical Company, for his life-saving actions on June 18th, 2010 down at the boat ramp of McGregor Park.
Mayor Johnny Piper thanks Jose Ortiz for his service to the community.
