This year’s event will feature three concerts, each highlighting an esteemed guitarist showcasing a different style.

Clarksville, TN – G.H.O.S.T. – or Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-treating – returns to the Austin Peay State University (APSU) campus this fall with a drive-through-style alternative for families on Halloween.
The event is free and open to anyone in the community. Austin Peay State University clubs and organizations, and groups from throughout the community, dress up and hand out candy.

Last week, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee called on the state’s residents to help end the blood bank shortage, and even the American Cancer Society is pleading for people to donate because, according to that organization, “blood transfusions save millions of lives in the United States every year.”

Internationally renowned Gomalan Brass Quintet to visit APSU

Clarksville, TN – Internationally renowned brass group the Gomalan Brass Quintet is making its first tour stop of 2019 – and its first and only scheduled stop in America – at Austin Peay State University (APSU).
The Italy-based group will perform 7:30pm Saturday, January 26th at APSU’s George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall, at Eighth and Marion streets.

Austin Peay State University ROTC landing Black Hawks on campus for training

Clarksville, TN – Seeing UH60 Black Hawk helicopters circling above is not unusual in Clarksville Tennessee. However, seeing them land at Austin Peay State University’s campus in Downtown Clarksville is.
As part of a coordinated effort between Austin Peay’s Governors Guard ROTC program and the Tennessee National Guard, the APSU ROTC department has arranged to have Black Hawk helicopters land on campus three times over the next several weeks.
Austin Peay State University honors former TBR chancellor with John Morgan Walk of History

Clarksville, TN – When John Morgan says he grew up on the Austin Peay State University campus, he’s not talking metaphorically. His father, Joe Morgan, served as the University’s fourth president, and during those years, the family lived in the historic Archwood Home on College Street.
John literally grew up at Austin Peay, and after earning his degree from the University, he continued to think of the campus as his home.
