Digital Sales Strong – Video Views Increase
Clarksville TN – Local singer/songwriter Lydia Walker’s recent weekend digital album release party and music video premiere was a grand success! The excitement was at full throttle at Chick-fil-a of Madison Street as family and friends packed the dining area to view Lydia’s new video – When I Dance – for the first time.
Guests were also treated to personal introductions of each new song featured on Lydia’s project – Beloved. Main co-writer and producer Curt Ryle was on hand to enjoy the celebration as well as Sarah Lejeune of Feeling Good Entertainment who produced the music video.

“Laying Low” to benefit Custom’s House Museum

Clarksville, TN – If you’ve been “Flying High” over the years, then it’s time for “Laying Low” to support the Custom’s House Museum and Cultural Center. The Museum’s first ever “Laying Low” fundraiser is coming November 5th at 3:30pm, at the home of Nancy and Garnett Ladd, 2100 Madison Street.
This “festival style” event will feature a complete barbeque dinner with all the trimmings, adult beverages, sweet tea, outdoor games, a cornhole tournament, capped off with a bonfire and s’mores. The highlight of the night will be country music headliner, Frankie Ballard. [Read more]
“Wine Around the World” to benefit local Red Cross

Clarksville, TN – “Wine around the World” is coming to Clarksville, Saturday November 12th at the Water Street Events Center. This signature event will be one of a kind for Clarksville, as sponsors will be able to sample wine’s from all over the world, matched with foods paired perfectly with your selections.
“Wine around the World” will benefit the local chapter of the American Red Cross, continuing it’s mission to provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Tickets are available at the Red Cross office on Madison Street, and are $55.00 in advance. Event chairperson Beth Tanner says the event will feature some of the finest wines from Spain, Germany, California, New Zealand, Portugal and France. [Read more]
Bikers Who Scare Haunted House Opens Tonight

Clarksville, TN – Come out and take a terrifying journey through the old Carmike Theater. Located at 1955 Madison Street, the Bikers Who Scare Haunted House starts at 7:00pm Friday, October 14th. This is the 9th year for the haunted house with all the proceeds going to benefit Bikers Who Care Children’s Charities.
The entry fee is only $10.00 per person. The Haunted House will be held October 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th, 31st. It opens at 7:00pm each night.

Fireball Run Adventurally in Clarksville on Thursday

Public Square will be Closed Off
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, September 29th and Friday, September 30th, the Fireball Run Adventurally will be in Clarksville, TN as part of their 2,500 mile race and scavenger hunt.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to come out to Public Square, Downtown Clarksville, on Thursday around 4:00pm and on Friday at 9:00am to see the cars and meet the participants. This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family out to see cars that range from custom Camaros to vintage classics. September 2011 is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in Montgomery County and Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – Did you know 30,000 men die each year from prostate cancer? Or that 1 in 2,000 men between the ages of 40-44 and 1 in 476 men between the ages of 50-56 will develop prostate cancer? This disease affects so many men and their families right here in Clarksville.
MSUMC is continuing a new educational/support group on September 6th at 7:00pm for men and their families who are dealing with this disease or have questions about the disease. [Read more]
