Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan Honors Catholic Charities 50th Anniversary

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan yesterday recognized the contributions of Catholic Charities of Tennessee in Middle Tennessee, especially in Clarksville and Montgomery County, in a meeting with Deasree Williams, counselor in the Adoption & Pregnancy Counseling program, and Mark Barry, agency marketing director, during which she presented a proclamation honoring the agency’s recent 50th anniversary.

Shemberger completes rigorous triathlon training camp in Alabama

Clarksville, TN – Russ Shemberger, a licensed massage therapist at Restore Performance Massage on Madison Street in Clarksville, completed the rigorous Lake Guntersville Long Course Triathlon Training Camp, held July 27th-29th in Scottsboro, AL.
He was one of 50 participants in the camp, which trains triathletes from across the nation by swimming, biking and running a total of 140.6 miles – the distance of an Ironman – over the three-day event.

Russ Shemberger scores podium finish in Music City Du Run Run duathlon

Clarksville, TN – Russ Shemberger, a licensed massage therapist at Restore Performance Massage on Madison Street in Clarksville, scored a podium finish at the Music City Du Run Run duathlon held on Father’s Day, June 17th in Nashville, TN.
A veteran multisport athlete, Shemberger won third in his age group (male 45-49). He completed the course (2-mile run, 10-mile bike, 2-mile run) in 55 minutes, 17 seconds. He bettered his time by more than seven minutes when he last raced this venue in 2009.

Clarksville City Councilwoman Kaye Jones makes donation to Manna Cafe

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Councilwoman (Ward 11) Kaye Jones donated hundreds of scarves, hats and gloves to Manna Cafe today.
Ms. Jones stated that last winter when they were so badly needed, she had to purchase them at full price, but by buying them at closeout in June, she was able to get a tremendous deal thanks to Kmart on Madison Street.
“I was so excited to be able to do so much more than last year, and they will be receiving new before worn items, which is a real treat!!

Restore Performance Massage offers Therapeutic Massage in Clarksville

Offers Sports Massage and other Therapeutic Services
Clarksville, TN – A veteran triathlete who is now a licensed massage therapist will lead a new massage therapy practice dedicated to sports massage treatment, therapeutic, Swedish and deep tissue massage.
Restore Performance Massage, also called RPM Massage, is located inside the Clarksville Chiropractic Center building on Madison Street next to Chick-Fil-A. The new business opened Monday, May 7th.
Russ Shemberger, whose athletic background is in the sport of swimming and triathlon, is the practice’s newly licensed massage therapist.
