Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage to hold Valentine’s arts event with Chocolate, Champagne, and Chamber Music February 14th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksvillians can buy Valentine’s gifts from local artists, sample champagne and heart-healthy chocolates from local caterers, and enjoy chamber music by local musicians at the seventh annual Valentine’s Day Afternoon with the Arts, Sunday, February 14th, 2016.
The Clarksville/Montgomery County Arts & Heritage Development Council and F&M Bank are hosting this event from 1:00pm until 4:00pm in F&M Bank’s Franklin Room, with its spectacular views of downtown and the Cumberland River.

Clarksville, TN – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently achieved various accomplishments for their professional and scholarly work.
Dr. Najmul Abedin, professor of public management, was designated Highly Commended Award Winner by the Emerald Group Publishing Limited in England for his article, titled “The ombudsman in developing democracies: The commonwealth Caribbean experience” published in the 2010 edition of International Journal of Public Sector Management. Clarksville, TN – Four faculty and staff employees at Austin Peay State University recently were recognized through their scholarly and professional activities.
Dr. Stuart Bonnington, professor of psychology, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Tennessee Division of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy at its annual meeting March 4th. He has received two other awards from this organization: Service to the Division (1993) and Dedicated Service to the Division (2005). [Read more]
