Movie Night at Downtown Commons to feature “The Parent Trap (1998)”, Saturday

Montgomery County, TN – Downtown Commons will host the third of five Movie Nights this Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at 7:45pm. The movies are free and open to the public. This month’s feature is “The Parent Trap (1998)”.
During the movie, kids will have the opportunity to make crafts at ArtLink’s mobile studio, and Driving You Donuts will be available on Main Street.
CTS to offer free summer rides for youth

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) and the City of Clarksville are offering free summer transportation to young people to help them engage in summer jobs and enrichment programs.
CTS will offer the Summer Youth Free Ride Program from June 1st to August 31st to youth 18 and under with a valid CTS Youth or Student ID.

Parmalee headlining Downtown @ Sundown May 7th

Montgomery County, TN – Kicking off the Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series on May 7th, 2021 at 7:00pm is the well-known country music band Parmalee.
The band has made six entries on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, with two number-one singles on the latter: “Carolina” in 2013, and “Just the Way“, a collaboration with Blanco Brown, in 2021.

CTS Spooky Special ready to roll again
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) Spooky Special is back for another Spooky Clarksville tour.
The Halloween-adorned bus will run the streets of Clarksville, offering free rides on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st, 2020.
The Spooky Special, or Spooky Bus as some call it, is a Clarksville Transit System Halloween tradition that started 29 years ago to help residents get acquainted with the local public transportation service and to thank consistent passengers.
Downtown @ Sundown features Good Rockin’ Tonight for final 2020 Concert this Friday

Montgomery County, TN – On Friday, October 16th, 2020, Good Rockin’ Tonight will perform at the Downtown Commons for the final concert of 2020. The Downtown @ Sundown concert will take place on the lawn from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
Good Rockin’ Tonight is a 1950’s Rock and Rockabilly Tribute that features professional Nashville musicians who perform the most influential songs in Rock and Roll history.

Country musician Tyler Booth, will be kicking off the evening as he opens for platinum-certified hitmaker country musician Jerrod Niemann. They are sure to bring first-class entertainment with a great combination of songs.

Mayor vs. General Third Annual Broomball Game at Downtown Commons Ice Rink set for January 15th

Montgomery County, TN – Broomball is sweeping through Clarksville! Come out to the Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink and see Clarksville’s most entertaining sport. Fort Campbell’s Major General Brain Winski will challenge the reigning champions, Montgomery County and Mayor Jim Durrett, for the third annual showdown on ice, January 15th, 2020 at 6:00pm.
Joining us this season is Clarksville Police Department and Clarksville Fire Rescue for a friendly competition of Guns vs. Hoses starting at 5:00pm. The 911 Dispatchers will try their hand in a short match between the two featured games.
