Clarksville Montgomery County School System HR Reorganization Introduces Educator Quality

Montgomery County, TN – When Bruce Jobe retired last month as the Chief Human Resources Officer, Schools Director Mike Harris named former HR Director Jeanine Chester as the new Chief and promoted former Assistant HR Director Cydney Miller to take over Mrs. Chester’s position. That left the group with the opportunity to reconfigure the open position into a staff member who would be dedicated to the hiring of quality teachers and school administrators.
Phyllis Casebolt, who has served as principal at Clarksville High for the past three years, will begin her duties this month as Director of Educator Quality.
Clarksville Montgomery County School Board Reviews Report Card Results

Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board reviewed the system’s results on its newly released state report card during its Tuesday work session, seeing improvements across grades, subjects and schools.
Chief Academic Officer Dr. B.J. Worthington reminded School Board members of the changes that Tennessee schools have experienced with more rigorous standards and assessments; redefined proficiency levels; a change in how results are calculated; and a state-legislated mandate that TCAP assessments count as part of students’ math and language arts grades for the second semester. Chief Human Resources Officer Named for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System

Montgomery County, TN – Jeanine Chester has been named Chief Human Resources Officer for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System beginning in January. She will replace Bruce Jobe, who is retiring.
Mrs. Chester has served in several Human Resources roles within the school system since 2001. They include: Human Resources Director, Assistant Human Resources Director and Benefits Manager.
