Clarksville Parks and Recreation Facility Hours Change for Fall Break Fun

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers and Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence will adjust their hours of operation for CMCSS Fall Break. From October 8th-12th, all three community centers will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
The Indoor Aquatic Center will remain open from 7:00am to 8:00pm. All facilities will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, October 13th. [Read more]
Great Floating Pumpkin Patch event to be held at the Indoor Aquatic Center October 13th

Pick your pumpkin from the pool at the first-ever, Great Floating Pumpkin Patch!
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the first-ever Great Floating Pumpkin Patch at the Indoor Aquatic Center on October 13th.

Clarksville’s Indoor Aquatic Center opens for the season with new Climbing Wall feature

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, this fall and winter! The Indoor Aquatic Center opens its doors for the Indoor Season on Monday, October 1st.
Enjoy a day of free admission, refreshments and free Wibit and Aqua Climb access on Opening Day from 7:00am to 12:00pm and 3:00pm until 8:00pm.

Select City Pools to remain open through Labor Day Weekend

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation will be closing their public pools for the summer season on Sunday, August 5th. However, Beachaven Pool and Bel-Aire Pool will remain open August 10th through September 3rd on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, as well Monday, September 3rd. Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will hold Lifeguarding Course

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Lifeguarding Course for participants seeking the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
To enroll in this course, participants must be at least 15 years of age and able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for two minutes without the use of arms or hands and swim 20 yards and retrieve a ten-pound weight from 12 feet of water. [Read more]

Indoor Aquatic Center now offers Aquatic Therapy Gym

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, now offers an Aquatic Therapy Gym designed for therapeutic use.
The Aquatic Therapy Gym is a compact, multi-station, underwater therapy gym designed for aquatic rehabilitation. [Read more]
