Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is bringing Vegas-caliber entertainment to your doorstep this coming Saturday, tomorrow night at 7:00pm with all proceeds benefiting the Humane Society.
The Humane Society depends 100% on fundraising, donations and grants to help animals and families in the community, so please come out and show your support. Despite what our name might imply, they are not “funded” by the city or county, so your support of fundraisers like this is super important.

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 8th, 2014 the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County brings back Legends of Clarksvegas.
It will be held at the Valor Hall Conference and Event Center in Oak Grove, KY. Doors open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 7:00pm.
Kenny James returns as Buddy Holly at this year’s Legends of Clarksvegas.

Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County will hold their first Holiday Market and Santa Paws Pet & People Portraits on Sunday December 8th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at their building located at 940 Tennessee Avenue .
An on-site professional photography experience will be provided by Tina Hartman with Picture Your Photo Photography & Art and her team of elves, including Clarksville’s most excellent Santa George!

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 26th, 2013, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will hold Clarksville’s 1st Annual Pit Bull Awareness Day from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Come out to Rural King and join fellow pittie lovers for a costume contest, photos and free doggie treats.
There will be free spay-neuter vouchers for Pit Bulls or close bully mixes provided by by the Clarksville Humane Society.

Clarksville, TN – In celebration of the Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County’s biggest event of the year, you are invited to submit your pet to compete for the coveted title of Mr. and Miss Wags to Witches 2013.
It is just $10.00 per entry. The top 10 photos will be featured in the 2014 Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County calendar.
All photo entries are placed on website for voting purposes. One dollar equals one vote.

Montgomery County Government to Vote on Ordinance Requiring Shade for Outdoor Dogs

Montgomery County, TN – On Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm, an amendment is being presented to the Montgomery County Commission that will require that pet owners ensure outdoor pets have access to shade on hot days.
Currently, our local Animal Control department is not requiring pet owners to provide shade for their animals because the law doesn’t say “shade.”
