Montgomery County Girls Earn Highest Awards in Girl Scouting

Montgomery County, TN – This year, nine Girl Scouts from Montgomery County earned the highest awards in Girl Scouting. The girls were recognized at Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee’s Annual Salute to Outstanding Leadership Awards ceremony held on May 3rd at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena.
Two local Girl Scouts earned the Girl Scout Silver Award. The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette (grades 6-8) can earn. [Read more]

Clarksville, TN – This Saturday, a new local business will host a Grand Opening celebration with a twist. Instead of simply inviting prospective customers to enjoy a free snack and learn more about what they have to offer, Honest-1 Auto Care is asking friends to make a difference for a local charity on Saturday, April 25th.
Honest-1 Auto Care is located at 2068 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville and is preparing for a great event. WAY-FM will be broadcasting live from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Hope Pregnancy Center announces 11th annual Father Daughter Purity Ball

Clarksville, TN – The administrative staff at Hope Pregnancy Center is busy preparing for the eleventh annual Father Daughter Purity Ball, to be held the last two weekends in February.
This popular event is open to fathers, grandfathers, uncles or any adult male role model, and young ladies in grades K through 12, as well as college age. Guests will enjoy dancing, dessert, and a brief encouraging message focused on the event theme, “One in a Million”. [Read more]
