Austin Peay State University alumni create Christopher C. Wyatt, Jonathan W. Wyatt Endowment to benefit APSU students

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – William (Bill) H. Wyatt (’70) and Victoria (Vicki) Brinkley Wyatt (’70) recently made a contribution to the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Foundation to establish the Christopher C. Wyatt and Jonathan W. Wyatt Endowment to benefit APSU students.

Bill and Vicki graduated from APSU in 1970. Their sons, Christopher and Jonathan, were both alumni of the University as well. The family has long supported Austin Peay State University.

Clarskville Parks and Recreation’s Tai Chi for Arthritis will be starting again soon

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Another session of Tai Chi will begin on August 11th at the Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road. There are a total of 8 one-hour long sessions included in the program. Tai Chi will take place on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, August 11th through September 29th.

Tai Chi involves stretching and different chair exercises. Improved balance, increased flexibility, and reduced stress are benefits you can receive from participating. [Read more]

Daughters of the American RevolutionClarksville, TN – The DARlings of the Captain Edmiston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will Go Red For Women on February 3rd from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library for National Wear Red Day to promote women’s heart health.
