Clarksville Parks and Recreation extends deadline on prize offer for Riverfest volunteers

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is extending the deadline on the cash prize offered to volunteers helping with soft drink sales and the Adventure Zone children’s area, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, on September 7th and 8th at McGregor Park.
The group or organization who registers the most volunteers through Hands On Nashville by September 4th will receive $500.00. [Read more]

Clarksville, TN– Clarksville is proud to be a part of the Corporation for National and Community Service 2012 September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. There is no day in history that has the same power to unite us in service like 9/11.
Be a part of this remarkable initiative to honor 9/11 victims, survivors and those who rose up in service in response the attacks by volunteering in your community. Volunteers and volunteer leaders are needed to help with various local service activities.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is currently seeking volunteers to help with soft drink sales, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Adventure Zone children’s area as well as the Cornhole Tournament on September 7th and 8th at McGregor Park.
Volunteers may sign up for the timevslot(s) that best fit their schedule and availability at the Hands on Nashville website. The process is simple, visit www.hon.org and search “Riverfest.” Volunteers may then select the area in which they would like to volunteer and then select the timeslot occurrence that best fits their schedule.

Social Media 101 Workshop for Nonprofit Organizations
