Riverview Inn Receives their Green Certification

Montgomery County, TN – The latest local business to host a Green Ribbon Cutting for becoming Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified is the Riverview Inn.
Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers and Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, were there to congratulate the owner and employees of Riverview Inn for earning the certification.
Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) becomes Green Certified

Montgomery County, TN – On Monday afternoon, October 7th, Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) became the first City Department to earn Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification.
CDE has supported the CMC Green Certification Program since it began in the spring of 2011 when they agreed to give presentations about energy savings as a part of the program’s workshops.
Legends Banks becomes Green Certified

Billy Atkins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Legends Bank, began the celebration by thanking all the employees. He gave special mention to Britney Campbell, their VP of Marketing. “Britney is the one who drove this effort, she told us what to do and we listened,” he joked.
DBS & Associates Engineering gets Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified

When David B. Smith, company president, decided DBS & Associates Engineering would participate in CMC Green Certification, he asked three employees to form a “green team” and work with employees throughout the firm to solicit ideas and take the steps to become green certified.
