CDE Lightband Announces Addition of Six New HD Channels

Clarksville Department of ElectricityClarksville, TN – CDE Lightband, the broadband services provided by the Clarksville Department of Electricity announces the addition of six new high definition networks to the Lightband HD channel lineup on February 1st, 2011. The networks are being added to compliment the current standard definition network carried by CDE Lightband.

Beginning tomorrow, CDE Lightband customers who subscribe to HD services will be able to enjoy the following additions; Style HD on channel 908, E! Entertainment HD on channel 909, G4 HD on channel 913, Golf Channel HD on channel 918, Versus HD on channel 919 and Sprout HD on channel 936. [Read more]

Consequently, students are faced with many challenges, and parents have to be more than simply parents. They must act as a performance coach to help their children achieve their goals.

Dr. Gregg Steinberg

Unfortunately, this is where some parents get stuck.

Dr. Gregg Steinberg, professor of health and human performance at Austin Peay State University, will appear on WSMV’s new television show, “Better Nashville,” at 1:00pm, Tuesday, August 31st to discuss the tools parents need to help build emotional and mental toughness in their children.

The TV interview will be based on information from his book, “Flying Lessons: 122 strategies to equip your child to soar into life with competence and confidence.”

His book informs parents how to help their children with overcoming test anxiety, dealing with bullies at school, staying more focused in class and keeping confidence after experiencing failures. [Read more]
