Clarksville’s Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for February 12th through February 15th, 2015

Clarksville, TN – Dunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.
Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs during the year. There are programs for children and adults.
Some of the upcoming events include: Friends of Dunbar Cave Meeting, Bird Hike, Winter Trees and Sunset Hike.
Middle College High School at Austin Peay student wins Tennessee School Boards Association Student Video Contest

Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville-Montgomery County Middle College student video, “You don’t know me yet, but thanks to public education you will,” has been chosen as the winner of 2012 Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Student Video Contest, Tell us how public education prepares Tennessee students for the future.
The contest was designed to give the education leaders and community members of Tennessee a sneak peek at the positive effects public education has on the students of today.
