CTS to provide special holiday services

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Transit System (CTS) will be offering several free services to help residents cope with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
On Tuesday, December 24th, 2019, CTS is offering free transportation from the Downtown Transit Center to the Annual Warm Souls Christmas Celebration at the APSU Morgan University Center.
Fort Campbell Hanger welcome home for Vietnam veterans

Clarksville, TN – You can be a part of the homecoming our Vietnam Veterans never received on Thursday, September 19th, 2019.
Beginning at 2:00pm in Hangar 3 on Fort Campbell Army Post, the doors will swing open and our Vietnam Veterans will march in to the sounds of the Army band and cheers they have deserved for more than 40 years.
APSU Board of Trustees to host spring meeting March 8th-9th

Clarksville, TN – On March 8th and 9th, 2018 the Austin Peay State University Board of Trustees will host its spring meetings at the Fort Campbell Military Installation and on the APSU campus.
The Board’s Business and Finance Committee, Academic Policies and Programs/Student Life Committee, and Audit Committee will meet at 2:00pm that Thursday at the APSU Education Center, Building #203 on the Fort Campbell Army Installation.

Clarksville, TN – Penn Station East Coast Subs, the fast-casual restaurant known for its fresh grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, hand-squeezed lemonade and fresh-cut fries, will open its first location in Clarksville next month at 110 Needmore Road.
Cincinnati-based Penn Station East Coast Subs features grilled sub sandwiches – including the chain’s renowned Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich – and cold deli sandwiches made to order with high-quality ingredients on hearth-baked bread.
Fort Campbell’s Club Beyond presents Annual Muck Wars

Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell’s Military Community Youth Ministries “Club Beyond” will present “The Braveheart Battles” for the fourth annual “Muck Wars” Saturday, May 19th at the Fort Campbell High School, 1101 Bastogne Avenue, Fort Campbell, KY.
Participants will divide into two armies (the Brits and the Scots) and take to the battlefield at 11:00am for gladiator games and then again at noon. The winning army earns a trophy.
The battle is expected to have more than 800 water balloons, 1,000 pounds of mud, splash artillery, flour bombs and stench cannons. It’s a way for teens to have good, clean fun while getting dirty. [Read more]
