Clarksville, TN – The eternal battle of the sexes takes a witty and suspenseful turn in the Roxy Regional Theatre’s 29th annual Shakespeare offering, the timeless comedy “Much Ado About Nothing”, March 7th-15th.
Taylor Galvin and Brandon Beach star as reluctant lovers Beatrice and Benedick, whose endless witty sparring threatens to keep them apart forever. Meanwhile, the two young lovers Claudio and Hero, played by Michael Spaziani and Michelle Foletta, are to be married imminently but for the devious scheming of a resentful prince looking to thwart the nuptials.

Clarksville, TN – Frank Sinatra made women scream when he walked up to the microphone; and with a twist of a phrase, men wept. His ability to interpret a song defined an American generation. Relive the magic of Ol’ Blue Eyes at the Roxy Regional Theatre, February 7th – March 1st, with the must-see musical celebrating the songs he made famous — MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra.
Featuring over four dozen hits — including “Strangers in the Night,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “The Lady Is A Tramp,” “New York, New York” and, of course, the perennial favorite “My Way” — this musical revue was co-created by David Grapes and Todd Olson.

Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre to hold Open Auditions for Les Miserables, Monday, February 17th

Clarksville, TN – On Monday, February 17th, at 5:00pm, the Roxy Regional Theatre (100 Franklin Street, Clarksville) will be holding open auditions for ensemble and children’s roles in Les Miserables.
For the children’s roles, interested auditionees should prepare at least 16 bars of a song performed by Young Cosette, Young Eponine or Gavroche.

The award-winning Rivers and Spires Festival will be filming the commercial to go along with the recently selected jingle. All those interested in having their 30 seconds of fame are asked to show up with a great attitude and ready to dance. Don’t worry no professional training is needed – just be ready to have fun!
Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre brings “V” Monologues back for Twelfth Year

Clarksville, TN – Eve Ensler’s touching, often hilarious series of monologues about women and performed by women has played to packed houses around the country, and the Roxy Regional Theatre’s presentation of “The Vagina Monologues” — beginning its twelfth year on Friday, January 10th, at 8:00pm — is no exception.
This year, Leslie Greene, Michelle Foletta and Adriane Wiley-Hatfield take the stage of the Roxy’s theotherspace in readings of these monologues based on interviews Eve Ensler conducted with 200 women about their views on sex, relationships, and violence against women.

“Delights of Winter” exhibit at Clarksville’s Downtown Artists Co-op

An Exhibit by Heike Sichterman and Claus “Dutch” Mann
Clarksville, TN – The Downtown Artists Co-op is proud to present “Delights of Winter”, an exhibit of fine art featuring Claus “Dutch” Mann and Heike Sichterman. The exhibit features hand-made jewelry and photography by Heike and intricate, wood carvings by Dutch. The Exhibit begins January 2nd, 2014 and runs through February 1st.
For this exhibit, Heike was inspired by “the European palaces built in the Baroque style. The opulence and splendor in gold and vivid colors one would see in the interior, (this) is what I tried to recreate in my jewelry reminiscent of what the ladies would wear for a lavish Winter Ball.“
“A Year With Frog and Toad” now playing at Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre

Clarksville, TN – Spend four fun-filled seasons with Arnold Lobel’s beloved storybook characters in the Tony-nominated musical “A Year With Frog and Toad”, playing December 18th – 21st at the Roxy Regional Theatre.
In Robert and Willie Reale’s whimsical show, Frog and Toad wake from hibernation in the Spring, plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe and all charm, “A Year With Frog and Toad” incorporates stories from Lobel’s four books, including the Caldecott Honor-winning Frog and Toad are Friends and the Newbery Honor-winning Frog and Toad Together.
