Take advantage of our Spring Break Special, a discounted matinee performance of Booth Tarkington’s “The Magnificent Ambersons” this Thursday, March 31st at 9:15am.
Admission is $10.00 (cash or check only) and will only be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
14th Annual Downtown Artists Co-op Art Auction and Fundraiser to be held this Saturday, April 2nd

Clarksville, TN – The Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) 14th Annual Auction will be held Saturday, April 2nd, 6:00pm-8:00pm. The venue will be F&M Bank’s beautiful Franklin Room, just up the street from DAC at 50 Franklin Street. The event will include both a live auction for large original works and a silent auction for small-medium pieces.
The Annual Auction is DAC’s only fundraising event each year. The auction raises funds to support the DAC mission of promoting the Visual Arts in Clarksville and it gives DAC Members a chance to provide a delightful evening for our patrons, sponsors and friends.

Clarksville, TN – Following months of workshopping, John McDonald’s stage adaptation of Booth Tarkington’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “The Magnificent Ambersons” is poised for its world premiere at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, March 25th, at 8:00pm.
A spoiled child, a mother’s death, the changing times and the loss of great wealth bring George Amberson his ultimate comeuppance in this timeless piece about the declining fortunes of a proud Midwestern family and the social changes brought by the automobile age.
Clarksville Downtown Artists Co-op to showcase Billy Renkl’s “Sestina”

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) is proud to announce “Sestina” by member artist Billy Renkl. Opening reception for the exhibit will be on Thursday, March 3rd, 5:00pm-8:00pm.
The DAC will be hosting this wonderful solo exhibit by Billy and will be featuring new art by our artists this March. As always, DAC will be serving fabulous appetizers and beverages during the opening. The exhibit will be on display through the month of March.

Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival to be held April 14th-16th

Clarksville, TN – The 14th annual award-winning free Rivers and Spires Festival is set for April 14th-16th, 2016. Festival goers will enjoy five stages of live entertainment with over 100 performers during the three days.
From children’s activities, arts vendors, a car show, military exhibits, shopping and so much more, this is truly an event for the whole family. Country music artist and reality star Kellie Pickler will headline the Public Square stage at 7:30pm and Dove awarding artist Plumb will headline the Christian stage at 7:00pm on Saturday night.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebrated in “The Mountaintop” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, February 24th – February 27th

Clarksville, TN – During his last night on earth, what thoughts and emotions might have passed through the mind and heart of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.? During Black History Month, in honor of the civil rights leader, the Roxy Regional Theatre explores this idea in five public performances of “The Mountaintop”, February 24th – February 27th.
On the evening of April 3rd, 1968, after delivering one of his most memorable speeches, an exhausted Dr. King retired to his room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. In this gripping re-imagination of events occurring in the hours before his assassination, playwright Katori Hall picks up with a fictional depiction of a mysterious stranger who arrives at the motel room with some surprising news, forcing Dr. King to confront his destiny and his legacy to his people.
