Clarksville, TN – After over four decades of entertaining audiences with his prop comedy, social commentary and watermelon smashing antics, one of the most famous comedians of our time is hanging up his Sledge-O-Matic.
In celebration of his 70th birthday, Gallagher is bringing master comedians Artie Fletcher and Bob Nelson along for the ride on his national farewell tour … and making Clarksville one of his stops! For three nights only, “Gallagher’s ‘Joke’s on You’ Comedy Tour” will take up residence at the Roxy Regional Theatre, on February 14th, 15th and 16th at 8:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – Funny, outrageous, emotionally affecting and occasionally angry … Eve Ensler’s wildly popular series of monologues about women and performed by women is back for the fifteenth year with the Roxy Regional Theatre’s presentation of “The Vagina Monologues”, January 13th – January 28th.
Returning favorites Emily Rourke (most recently seen as Molly in Harry Connick, Jr.’s The Happy Elf) and Leigh Martha Klinger (whom audiences may remember as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show and, most recently, as Gilda in The Happy Elf) will take the stage of the Roxy’s theotherspace in readings of these monologues based on interviews Eve Ensler conducted with 200 women about their views on sex, relationships, and violence against women.

Clarksville, TN – This week brings your final chances to catch Harry Connick, Jr.’s “The Happy Elf” at the Roxy Regional Theatre before Eubie the Elf returns to the North Pole following Saturday’s matinee.
Directed by Ryan Bowie and choreographed by Emily Rourke, “The Happy Elf” follows Eubie the Elf on his musical mission to bring Christmas cheer to Bluesville, a town on Santa’s naughty list. But can he turn a whole town of naughty children nice in just one day?

Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, December 13th Edward’s Steakhouse will hold a special Christmas program as part of their continuing series of “Music and Martinis”.
This special Christmas show features “The Queen City Quintet”, a group of local artists headed by Debbie Wilson of Wilson Entertainment. The special night include a special menu with ½ price appetizers, Martinis at $5.00 and ½ price select wines.

Clarksville kicks off the Christmas Season with annual Lighted Parade

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 3rd, 2016, the 57th Annual Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade was held in Downtown Clarksville. The theme this year was “Christmas Trees & Memories”.
Caroling on the courthouse steps began before the parade at 4:00pm. The Montgomery Central Elementary School Choir; Clarksville Academy Choirs; Northeast High School Exit One, JV Exit One & Concert Choirs; and West Creek High School Choir sang Christmas carols and performed to the delight of the crowd before the start of the parade.
Red River Breeze Brings “A Celtic Christmas” Back for the Second Year to the Roxy Regional Theatre on Sunday, December 11

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s own traditional acoustic Celtic band is bringing their unique brand of Christmas cheer to the corner of Franklin and First for the second year in a row.
In a much-anticipated follow-up to last year’s “Celtic Christmas Concert,” Red River Breeze will perform classic holiday tunes and carols with a Celtic flair at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Sunday, December 11th, at 3:00pm.
The group’s previous shows at the Roxy, including one held this past July, have consistently sold out. And, with ticket sales already strong, this December’s concert appears to be following the same course.

Clarksville, TN – The “Planters Bank Presents…” film series next movie will be “White Christmas”. This movie will be shown this Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at the Roxy Regional Theatre at 2:00pm.
“Raiders of the Lost Ark” is about singers Bob Wallace and Phil Davis joining sister act Betty and Judy to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into General Waverly, the boys’ commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties.
