Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre enters Season 36 of live entertainment on the corner of Franklin and First in Historic Downtown Clarksville with a Tony Award-winning family-friendly musical, piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs.
Legends Bank presents “Hairspray” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, beginning this Friday, September 7th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm Friday evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Clarksville, TN – Applications are now being accepted for booth space at the 13th annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts.”
The event will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the 100-block of Franklin Street in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
Coordinated by the Roxy Regional Theatre, the street event offers 30 vendor spaces where artists can showcase and sell fine arts and hand-crafted items, such as photography, paintings and drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and more.

Clarksville, TN – While many are familiar with their full band performances, the Cumberland Winds will feature the fine musicians from our community who make up the group during a soloist recital at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, June 15th, 2018 at 7:30pm.
Featuring soloists and small ensembles performing varied styles and types of music in the intimate setting of the Roxy Regional Theatre, the evening will include performances by Richard Steffen on trumpet, Daniel Aston on tuba, Michael Stewart and Emmanual Mejeun on horn duet, Earl Corrothers and Darrin Hoffman on sax and guitar duet, Patricia Ritter and Yvonne Kendall on flute and harp duet, as well as pieces by Cumberland Winds’ Saxophone and Trombone Quartets and String and Woodwind Quintets.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation to take part in Summer Food Service Program

Meals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program throughout the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program.
At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).
