Clarksville, TN – The Red River Sirens next home bout is Saturday, May 16th against the Marietta Derby Darlins. Come out and catch some awesome derby action and help out our local community.
The Sirens will be taking item donations for the Montgomery County Friends of the Shelter. A portion of the proceeds of the game will also be going to the shelter.
The Red River Sirens are a non profit organization. They volunteer in the community and help out other non profits.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water is pleased to announce the transition to a new online customer payment processing service. The new service will include the same secure online payment services as before, but will feature a new convenient One Time Payment option for monthly utility bill payment.
Customers will be able to select the new One Time Payment button on the Gas and Water home page, www.clarksvillegw.com , then choose Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card payment or E-Check payment without establishing an “Access My Account” login and password.

Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, November 2nd, the 2nd Annual Pit Bull Awareness Day will take place at the Rural King parking lot between 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
This event tries to bring awareness about the misconception of Bully Breeds, raise funds specifically ear-marked to provide free or greatly reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries for owners and to reduce euthanasia and increase adoptions of Pit Bulls in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.

The Austin Peay State University Hispanic Cultural Center and Hispanic Alumni Chapter are embarking on a tour to host World Cup Sticker Exchanges at select businesses.
In addition to trading stickers and filling up World Cup sticker albums, there will be free giveaways for those that can answer soccer trivia correctly. Participants will also receive Lady Govs Soccer posters, and be able to speak with staff members about Austin Peay, the APSU Hispanic Alumni Chapter and resources provided by the APSU Hispanic Cultural Center. Clarksville Police to increase Patrols Wednesday for beginning of School

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department will increase patrols in the morning and afternoon hours with the starting of School on Wednesday August 7th.
Officers will be ensuring that School Zone Speed Limits are obeyed and also that motorist remember to stop for school buses that are loading and unloading. Motorist must stop for school bus stop signs regardless of the size of the highway.
