Junior Ranger Day Camp at Dunbar Cave State Natural Area

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – It is our pleasure to announce Dunbar Cave State Natural Area’s second annual Junior Ranger Day Camp. This camp is designed for children ages 8 and 9 years old. Programs will help children build a better relationship with the great outdoors and have fun, while learning.

Camp will be held from 9:00am to 12:00pm, Wednesday – Friday, June 17th – 19th. Participants must attend all three days to earn a Tennessee State Parks Jr. Ranger certificate and badge.

Friends of Dunbar Cave’s Spring Fling set for May 2nd, 2015

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – The Friends of Dunbar Cave have announced the schedule for this year’s Spring Fling event to be held (rain or shine) on May 2th, 2015. All activities begin at the Visitor’s Center and are free of charge. Snacks will be provided for a modest donation. Children must supervised by an adult.

Come out and enjoy a day of free, family fun.

APSU students give back with “Big Event”

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – A bright red wave swept across Clarksville last Saturday, March 21st, wiping away debris and litter, and leaving a grateful community in its wake.

That wave consisted of about 500 Austin Peay State University students participating in The Big Event—a day of service that allows students to express their gratitude to the community that supports their University.

Clarksville Singer Lydia Walker begins Kickstarter Campaign; Releases New Video

Lydia WalkerClarksville TN – Local singer/songwriter Lydia Walker has become a household name in recent years. She has performed at numerous festivals, events, coffee shops, churches, and colleges in our region of Middle Tennessee and Southern KY.

Her music can be described as Contemporary Folk, accompanied by her acoustic guitar and occasionally a ukulele. She has taken the stage hundreds of times, sharing her songs with as many people as she can.
