Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council Hosts Successful Community Tour Event

Clarksville, TN – In early June, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council (EDC) hosted a two-day ‘Red Carpet Community Tour’ event for site selection consultants and brokers to gain first-hand knowledge of the assets that Clarksville-Montgomery County and the surrounding area have to offer.
“The annual Red Carpet event is an excellent opportunity for the team at the EDC to engage consultants and brokers who may not be familiar with the available resources in our community,” said Clarksville-Montgomery County EDC President and CEO, James Chavez. “It also serves as a unique way to say thank you by including our partners who make the work of the EDC possible.” [Read more]
The Rooted Wings to play at the next Jammin’ in the Alley

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation department is excited to announce The Rooted Wings to play at the next Jammin’ in the Alley concert June 15th.
The annual summer concert series, presented by U.S. Bank, is now in its 5th season and will feature a variety of local talent. In addition to the live music, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for concert-goers.

City of Clarksville brings free 90 minute parking to Downtown Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – Beginning on May 1st, 2012 and running through the end of June 2012, the City of Clarksville will offer free parking for 90 minutes on some downtown streets.
The 90 minute parking areas will be located on the 100 block of Franklin Street, Strawberry Alley and portions of Second Street. [Read more]
