Clarksville, TN – The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is ready to celebrate summer.
The Museum is participating in four different ongoing programs and events to provide free or reduced admission to members of the community – Blue Star Museums, Museums for All, Fifth Saturday Donation Day, and monthly First Thursday Art Walks.

Roxy Regional Theatre’s Back to the Movies presents Disney and Pixar’s “COCO”, Friday

Clarksville, TN – It’s the celebration of a lifetime! Kick off your Memorial Day weekend at the Roxy Regional Theatre as we get Back to the Movies with Disney and Pixar’s vibrant tale of family, fun, and adventure, “COCO’, this Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 7:00pm.
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events.

Some of the events in June at the Museum are Patsy Sharpe: Small Worlds, Richard Sloan’s Birds of the Southeast, Annual Staff Art Exhibit, Susan Bryant: 7 Chapters from A Book About Light, Curiosities: Objects from the Museum Collection.

Clarksville Artist Scene will host Meet and Greet, June 10th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Artist Scene will hold its first Meet and Greet for local artists to gather, provide mutual support and explore opportunities to collaborate.
The event will be held Thursday, June 10th from 5:00pm-6:00pm at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 404 Madison Street in Downtown Clarksville
Organizer Jackie Lewis says the meeting is open to artists in all mediums. “Whether you’re a musician, a visual artist, a writer, an actor/actress, or any other form of art, you are welcome to join us. This is a chance to unite the creative community of Clarksville.”

Vendor Applications Now Being Accepted for 15th Annual Frolic On Franklin on Saturday, September 18th

Clarksville, TN – Applications are now being accepted for booth space at the 15th annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts.”
The event will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the 100 block of Franklin Street in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
Coordinated by the Roxy Regional Theatre, the street event offers 40 vendor spaces where artists can showcase and sell fine arts and hand-crafted items, such as photography, paintings and drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and more.
