Mayor’s Summer Night Lights offers free fun

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville youths are invited by Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts to join in a summer program filled with fun activities and free food designed to help them fight summertime boredom.

The seventh season of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program will kick off June 3rd and continue at various locations throughout the summer with DJs, athletic competitions, arts and crafts, local music performances, and more.

All Kids Welcome! New Playground and Splash Pad Preparing for Grand Opening

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is proud to announce the grand opening of the city’s first all-inclusive splash pad and playground at Heritage Park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road.

The grand opening will take place Thursday, May 26th at 10:00am at the park.

This however, is not the case in Clarksville where Parks and Recreation is joining forces with the Clarksville Police Department to bring forth “Bridging the Gap Week” as a part of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program on Monday, July 20th at the Kleeman Community Center and Wednesday, July 22nd at Summit Heights from 5:30pm to 9:00pm each night. Clarksville’s Summer Night Lights program begins with free 5-on-5 basketball tournaments

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – It is almost time to kick off this summer’s edition of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program and this year we are starting off with free 5-on-5 basketball tournaments for ages 14 and older!

Anyone wishing to participate in these tournaments must be at the location no later than 5:45pm to sign up. Free food and drinks will be provided.
