Chemers’ contemporary take on Aristophanes’ bawdy anti-war comedy “Lysistrata”, November 2nd – November 10th, 2018. “What if they stopped a war because nobody came?” From this premise springs forth the first make-love-not-war play ever written.
In keeping with the theme of Season 36 — “Theatre You Can’t Resist” — Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre follows a group of women as they put up a resistance against Greece’s political climate to bring about unprecedented change.

The ceremony was attended by Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, Melinda Shepard of the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce, David Graham Director of Bi-County Solid Waste, CMCGCP Steering Committee member Rose Melton (Altra Federal Credit Union), CMCGCP Steering Committee member Doug Jones (Montgomery County), and CMCGCP Manager Carlye Sommers.

Clarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre is heading west “where the wind comes sweepin’ down the plain” to close out Season 35 of live professional theatre on the corner of Franklin and First.
Legends Bank presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece “Oklahoma!” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, beginning Friday, July 27th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Recertification Refresher Class at Agero

Montgomery County, TN – On Tuesday, June 20th, Agero hosted the Clarksville-Montgomery County’s Green Certification Program’s refresher class. Thirty-one attendees representing many of the organizations that originally certified in 2013 and 2015 participated in the class.
The class reviewed the latest environmental concerns in our community, discussed the impacts on the environment, and shared their ideas and continued improvements within their own organizations.
