Clarksville, TN – With the new year comes a fresh slate of outstanding exhibitions at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center. Opening in mid-January is the highly-anticipated reveal of award-winning realist painter Juliette Aristides’ A Life’s Work.
In 2020, the Seattle-based painter focused on the quiet moments of her life. A Life’s Work is a collection of those moments of light and shadows that filled her studio and home.

Customs House Museum receives $150,000 Donation from Kiwanis Club of Clarksville for Children’s Area Remodel

Clarksville, TN – During the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center’s Grand Illumination lighting event held on October 3rd, 2020, Executive Director Frank Lott had a special announcement for those in attendance.
The Downtown Kiwanis Club of Clarksville has pledged $150,000 for the renovation of the Museum’s children’s area known as Explorers’ Landing.

Customs House Museum to reopen Explorers’ Landing and Family Art Studio, October 4th

Clarksville, TN – For the first time in over six months, the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is reopening Explorers’ Landing and the Kiwanis Family Art Studio.
Beginning October 4th, 2020 the ever-popular kid’s areas will be open for visitors with a few new precautions in place to ensure safe play for families.
